Youth Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Homelessness Service: Consultation report

Published on 6 Jul 2021

In March 2021 the Mental Health Commission (MHC) held a consultation process to inform the model of service for the long-term Youth Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug Homelessness Service.

The process was facilitated by Nous Group and in total, 15 written submissions were received and there were 60 workshop attendees including young people, carers and family members and representatives from service providers, peak bodies and government agencies.

The Consultation Report is now available.

Feedback from the consultations indicated that the Commission mustevaluate the workforce model during the interim service and update the long-term model of service with any findings from this evaluation.”

Although there will not be any further consultations for the long-term model of service, the Mental Health Commission will continue to refine the model of service to incorporate learnings from the operation of the Interim Service.
