Towards Elimination of Restrictive Practises 11th National Forum (3-4 May 2017)
The 11th national Towards Elimination of Restrictive Practises Forum (formerly Seclusion & Restraint Reduction Forum) will be held The University Club of Western Australia, Crawley on 3-4 May 2017.
The forum is a co-sponsored initiative between the Chief Psychiatrist of Western Australia (WA), the lead agency, with the WA Mental Health Commission, WA Department of Health and the Western Australian Association for Mental Health (WAAMH).
The forum provides an opportunity for clinicians, practitioners, consumers and carers/family members from across Australia to come together to showcase innovations in practice, forge ideas and policy directions based on research, clinical practice and lived experience. The Perth forum will facilitate a national commitment to eliminating the use of restrictive practices and working together within a culture of care.
