Prevention and Wellbeing Promotion Organisations

Many organisations work to improve mental health in the community, help people avoid mental illness, and reduce alcohol and other drug-related harm. These include community inclusion organisations, education and promotion programs, and research institutions.

The services we specifically fund are listed below, along with other key prevention organisations. Contact the individual organisation to find out how you can become involved.

Corroboree for Life*A welcoming community that creates and offers young Aboriginal people more opportunities. (08) 6270 1115
Dr YES (Youth Education Sessions)*A program run by the Australian Medical Association where medical students deliver harm minimisation sessions to high school students.(08) 9273 3000
Embrace Multicultural Mental Health*Run by Mental Health Australia and provides a national focus on mental health and suicide prevention for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.02 6285 3100
