Mental Health Commission
The State Government has invested $88.1 million to expand mental health facilities at Fremantle Hospital.
The new 40-bed facility is Western Australia’s first 24/7 mental health crisis centre that ensure people are receiving prompt assessment, intervention and support.
This crisis centre offers people experiencing a mental health crisis an alternative to emergency departments.
The service will support referrals from ambulance services, police, hospital emergency departments, self-referral or referral from health professional.
