As part of national health funding reforms, eligible non‑admitted community mental health services have moved from block funding to Activity Based Funding (ABF).
The National Health Reform Agreement commits governments to using ABF for public hospital funding where possible.
This agreement was signed by the Commonwealth and all state and territory governments in August 2011.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of our State and its waters. The Commission wishes to pay its respects to Elders both past and present and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples seeing this message.
We recognise the individual and collective expertise of those with living and lived experience of mental health, alcohol and other drug issues and suicidal crisis, including their families and carers.
