The State Government has secured a site for Western Australia’s first metropolitan Youth Step Up/Step Down (SUSD) service. 

The Youth SUSD on Morley Drive in Balcatta will be close to public transport and local amenities, ensuring accessibility for young people and their families. 

The new 10-bed residential service will provide short-term, community-based mental health support for young people.

Assistance will also be provided to help young people transition back into their daily lives by building healthy routines and coping strategies.
