The State Government’s $4 million Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Program Support Fund has awarded more grants. 

In addition to the two initial programs, MATES in Construction WA and Steering Healthy Minds, two more initiatives are now receiving funding.

For workers in industries including agriculture, fisheries, forestry, civil construction, road maintenance, resources, mining, oil and gas, WA Workers Connect will provide workplace outreach and referral assistance. 

To assist workers and worker representatives to identify psychological distress risks and develop resources, Curtin University’s Future of Work Institute will deliver Thrive At Work.
