Mental Health Commission
The Mental Health Commission (Commission) is developing its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2027–2029 (DAIP) and is inviting feedback on what the Commission can do to improve disability access and inclusion across our services, facilities, information and employment practices.
The DAIP will be guided by the WA Disability Services Act 1993, which outlines seven key outcomes agencies must align their actions to.
These outcomes aim to ensure people with disability receive equal access to services, facilities, information, employment and opportunities provided by public authorities, including events, complaints, and consultations. They must also receive the same quality of service as others in ways that meet their access needs.
We want to hear from people with disability, carers, families, advocates, service providers and community members. You can provide feedback individually or as an organisation by:
- completing the online survey
- downloading the poster
- sending your feedback by email to mhc.daip@mhc.au.gov.au
- providing feedback to our voicemail service by calling 08 6553 0360
Submissions close Monday 31 August 2026.
