Mental Health Commission
The Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) supports people aged 18-65 years with a severe mental illness to live well and recover in the community.
The ICLS consists of two streams: Standalone Packages of Support and Supports Linked to Transitional Housing.
The ICLS is for two years (an additional 12 months of support may be provided if required on a case-by-case basis, with a maximum of three years of ICLS support available) or less if the participant reaches the age of 65 before they have been in the program for three years.
Participants will be provided with varying levels of support each week, depending on their individual needs. These packages will assist participants living in the community to increasingly participate in and contribute to community, social, and economic life.
Referrals for the ICLS must be submitted by a public or private mental health service.
Hope Community Services is contracted on behalf of the Mental Health Commission to undertake the role of Program Coordinator and oversees referrals for the program. Public and private mental health organisations interested in submitting a referral are encouraged to contact Hope at PCS@hopeCS.org.au. If you have previously requested to be registered through the Mental Health Commission, re-registration is not required.
