Safe Haven Cafe Workshops

Published on 10 Feb 2020

The Mental Health Commission invites you to participate in designing Safe Haven Cafés for Western Australia.

What is a Safe Haven Café?
Safe Haven Cafés provide peer based, recovery orientated services for people with mental health, alcohol and other drug issues requiring urgent assistance and support, but who do not require intensive clinical support.

The aim of a Safe Haven Café is to offer an alternative option to people who may otherwise attend emergency departments after hours when other supports are closed.

These workshops will assist with the development of a Safe Haven Cafés in Western Australia.
