Group support activity services aim to improve the quality of life and psychosocial function of people impacted by mental health and co-occurring alcohol and other drug issues through community based social, recreational and pre-vocational group activities.

The Mental Health Commission conducted an independent consultation and co-review process with consumers, carers, stakeholders and peak body representatives of group support activity services.

Following a competitive Open Tender procurement process completed in 2022, these services will be offered by the following service providers from 1 April 2023:

  • 55 Central Inc, Perth metropolitan
  • Bay of Isles Community Outreach, Esperance
  • Lamp Inc, South West region
  • Pathways SouthWest Inc, Bunbury
  • Perth Inner City Youth Service Inc, Perth metropolitan
  • Rise Network Inc, Perth metropolitan
  • Ruah Community Services, Perth metropolitan and Geraldton

Information about the services will soon be available on the Commission’s My Services directory.
