Review of the Supportive Landlord Services Component of the Independent Living Program – Final Report

Published on 23 Jul 2020

In May 2019, the Mental Health Commission funded the Western Australian Association for Mental Health (WAAMH) to review the Personalised Support Linked to Housing: Supportive Landlord Services Program area as part of the Commission’s Procurement Schedule.

The aim of the review was to provide input into the program to inform future service planning and commissioning. Over 160 consumers and representatives from key government and non-government stakeholder groups provided feedback.

The final report lists 12 recommendations and highlights issues in delivering the Service as well as insight into a consumer’s experience. The Commission will take these recommendations into consideration for the next phase of consultation and review process.

The Commission would like to acknowledge the work undertaken by WAAMH throughout this process.
