Extra drug and alcohol rehab beds to open in the South-West

People in the South-West will now have more access to alcohol and drug rehabilitation beds.

19 residential rehabilitation beds are set to open in January after the State Government awarded Palmerston Association a tender and funding of more than $1.1m per annum.

Negotiations are still continuing with another service provider so it is anticipated more beds will open soon.
