Expression of Interest – Mental Health Act Review Steering Group

The statutory review of the Mental Health Act 2014 (the Act) will commence this year and consider the operation and effectiveness of the Act.

The Mental Health Commission is looking for one consumer and one family member/carer with lived experience of mental illness, and who also have experience of the Act or the previous legislation, the Mental Health Act 1996 (now repealed).

The consumer and family member/carer will form part of the Steering Group that will guide the review. Please see relevant resources below:
