What is My Services?

My Services is a directory of mental health, alcohol and other drug services in Western Australia (WA), currently being developed by the Mental Health Commission.

Its aim is to help make it easier for Western Australians to find information on services available to help with mental health, alcohol and other drug issues.

How does it work?

It is easy to use – you simply click on navigation buttons and answer a short series of questions to search for services that match what you are looking for.

The list includes a summary about each service, its contact details, a map view of its location and links to more information.

I’m a service provider – what do I need to do?

The new directory will use the information contained in the national My Community Directory database to create the service listings in My Services.

The Commission is asking service providers to ensure their My Community Directory service listing/s are up to date. Log in here and check your listing.

You are particularly asked to ensure the Essential fields are filled in. This will help your service appear in the right categories and locations when people search for mental health and AOD services in the My Services online directory.

What next?

The Commission has developed My Services, based on consumer and stakeholder feedback and research.

Currently, the Commission is asking funded service providers to ensure their listings are up to date.

It is expected to be launched to the public in October. Keep an eye on our Facebook page or e-newsletter to be notified when it becomes available.
